We obtained planning permission in May 2009 for the comprehensive redevelopment of the former Cattle Market and adjoining land in Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire. The proposed development comprises a 4,600 sq m foodstore, a 1,043 sq m non-food retail store, a retail parade containing 11 smaller units, a community cinema, 32 residential flats (all of which will be affordable ‘housing’) and 14 houses.
The development will regenerate this important town centre site, which has remained vacant and under-used since the closure of the Cattle Market in 2001.
