Reading Arch Road, Redhill, Surrey

We workied with a multi-disciplinary team on a proposal to redevelop part of the Reading Arch Road industrial estate in Brighton Road, Redhill, Surrey. The proposed development, designed by Lyons+Sleeman+Hoare architects, comprised a foodstore with residential units above. A public exhibition held in February 2009 revealed overwhelming support for the development.

We submitted representations on the Area Action Plan and Core Strategy, including attendance at the Examination hearing, and successfully argued for an increase in the amount of retail capacity for Redhill.

We prepared the Planning Statement, Design and Access Statement and co-ordinated the Environmental Statement.
