Government planning policy in Planning Policy Statement 4 (PPS 4) requires applicants to assess the impact of any proposed retail development, and, if it is not in a town centre, to undertake a sequential assessment to demonstrate whether the development could be located within or closer to the town centre. Using our considerable experience, we can undertake impact assessments, sequential assessments, town centre healthchecks, and before and after studies, to help you deliver the retail development you want.
